ADVANCED ROBOT OPERATION AND PROGRAMMING COURSE

This course helps students to deepen their knowledge in robot programming and learn how to optimize the programming of handling applications. Set up payload, use offset motions, create background programs, create operator menus and more. This is an advanced course for robot operators, programmers and maintenance engineers with basic experience of FANUC robots.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

After completed course the participant should be able to:

• Show a good knowledge of how to modify existing programs.
• Demonstrate that he/she can use acquired knowledge to find certain functions and setups within the menus of the teach pendant, such as alarm lists, digital inputs and outputs.
• deepened knowledge about the robot’s construction, features and capabilities.

COURSE CONTENT

• Create robot programs.
• Position storage.
• Modification of existing positions in a program.
• Use of different moving functions (joint, linear and circular).
• Logical instruction basics (IF, Wait, DI/DO, Register handling).
• Offset programming.
• Menus Utility function.
• Payload definition and usage. 
• Searching with Skip function.
• Mixed logic functions.
• Practical exercises with Fanuc Robot LR mate 200iC:
  • Create & modify the programs: axis by axis, linear and circular;
  • Define and use Tool Frame and User Frame;
  • Play with Logical commands (IF, Wait, DI/DO, Register handling);
  • Make Offset, Skip and Mixed logic function;
  • Definition payload and usage

PRE-REQUISITES:

Operation and Programming - basic or equivalent knowledge in FANUC robot programming

Lessons presented:

• Documents in Vietnamese.
• Documentation in English.
